End of Year Student Gifts

Not only are my 8th graders leaving this year, but I am also leaving my school to teach in Oakland. This really is bitter sweet, because I have grown to love my kids so much. To end the year, I created heart-shaped word clouds describing each student. I cut them out and framed them to give to them during the last week of school.

Create them at: http://www.tagxedo.com
Purchase frames from: The Dollar Tree

Made from tagxedo.com… I inputted student’s name and adjectives describing them.

Finished Product! Framed word clouds describing each student.

The kids loved it and told me they were planning to hang it on their bedroom wall. I hope that whenever they see it, they remember how much they can offer to the world.

Happy teaching! 🙂
